Overview: Amalgamega is the defective offspring of guardian kaiju and resembles a monitor lizard crossed with a dragonfly. On the ground he is primarily a quadruped, but he can stand on his hind limbs in order to attack with his front limbs. Amalgamega's body is filled with toxins, which gives him highly corrosive saliva, a strong digestive system, and toxic blood. His wings give him incredible agility which he uses to dart around the battlefield while using his claws, teeth, and toxins to eat away at his opponent's health.

Origin:
Once there was two guardian monsters, specifically the dragonfly and lizard guardians of ancient Asia and Australia. They were protectors of of life and nature, including mankind back when they were just another creature in the landscape. These noble beasts had a strong spiritual connection to Earth and nature, allowing them to draw strength from Earth's mana and take on aspects of nature, like storms, water, and forests. What happened to these creatures is unknown, but before the disappeared they sired a single egg that would lay dormant until modern times. Eventually, mankind discovered it in the rain forests of modern day Indonesia, bring the egg back to civilization for scientific study. However, when it finally hatched, something was wrong.

Born was not a wise, noble guardian of Earth and nature, but a plague-bringing, man-eating monster. The world had changed since the time of the guardians, air polluted, forests gone, and the diversity of life decreased. The newborn hybrid either didn't know how or was simply unable to make a strong spiritual connection in this urbanized environment. As such, he only took on the physical form of his parents and the darker, surface aspects nature, like disease, toxins, and predatory hunger.

Lacking the full power and wisdom of a guardian, humanity assumed the drooling monstrosity was just another kind of mutant, giving him the movie-monster-esque name of Amalgamega. The young hybrid himself is unaware of his true nature, acting on feral instincts like hunger and territorialism, but always feeling an irritating sense of incompleteness. Amalgamega now fights and rampages like any other monster, with a weak glow in his eyes as the only sign of untapped potential.
