Oh hai, Tsula! You enjoying summer? I sure am. Sometimes I wish I could migrate south in the winter so I could follow the warmth and sunshine.Anyways. First upload from my brand new sketchbook! This started out as a laid back doodle, but I liked it enough that I decided to color it. I messed up the design on her chest, but oh well--actually, my reference for her doesn't HAVE a front view of the chest, which I should fix.

When I first started drawing this, she was hanging at a pool, but I couldn't draw it correctly. Β XD Β I'm sure she loves the beach though, so long as it is a nice warm one. Β

She looks really good! Love her expression and posture.
Good job with her mouth; I think that if you had done her teeth detailed as opposed to cartoony, the smile would have turned menacing.
About the lemonade- the glass, straw, and lemon all look good, but the top of lemonade looks a little off. I think I can see what you were doing- making the top of the lemonade mirror the top of the glass- but it seems a little weird. I checked some references, and it looks like drinks tend to be lighter colored on the top (I'm going to guess because of light reflection and know I'm probably wrong). Maybe try that next time
...I wish I could laze around during summer, but I'd get sunburned here. Disadvantage of not having fur, I suppose.

I was wanting to put ice cubes in the lemonade too, but wasn't quite sure how to--I've really no idea how to draw opaque stuff. Β Including lemonade. Β LOL. You are probably right about the top of the lemonade being lighter. Β Shoot, now I want lemonade!! Β XD

Thanks! I'm not used to drawing teeth in my smiling animals, I usually make them look way creepy somehow. Β So I was thrilled I managed to make her look like she was actually smiling here!
