Description
This was actually inspired by another deviation (although I won't say which one), that may or may not be in my favorites. I was looking at a really beautiful picture of a fantasy genre character, elaborate, dark, forboding...

until I scrolled down...

pointy shoes with bells...

It's not that they didn't "go with" the rest of the outfit -- they matched the "period" style quite well... It's just difficult to take a dark sorceror seriously if he jingles like a house-cat when he walks.

And so was born the bunny slippers. And yes the Monty Python references is also intentional.

What's really odd is that the Monty Python reference in my last deviation (with big nasty pointy teeth!) wasn't intentional. I was just working the Energizer Bunny gag. That one was an idea I had many many years ago and had illustrated at the time but not nearly as well.
