Really, sometimes they make some of the freakiest noises EVER. And for no reason. Then they suddenly go quiet!Especially when you get a new computer and it makes noises you've never heard before.

My computer actually makes these freaky engine noises whenever it's loading something. It makes me shudder in the middle of the night, because it sounds like something is going to crash out of it any minute.

Mine makes these chattering sounds every once in a while. It isn't the computer's fault, though. Well, not entirely.
A couple of years ago I was sitting on the edge of my bed. My mom came up to me and started tickling me. But, it kinda caught me off-guard so, I dropped the computer. It wasn't a long way down but, still.
So, I think it was:
50% my mom's fault for even tickling me in the first place. But, she didn't know it would make me jump.
30% my fault for not having a good grip on the computer. But, she did surprise me.
20% my computer's fault for not being able to withstand the impact. But, it did fall on the screen. (at an angle)

Sometimes, I get insecure about putting a CD-ROM in my computer. The sound it makes while reading it is too weird. O.o

Mine is silent,b ut the speakers pick up local radio stations. when they're turned off. and my alarm clock has a sound option on it and it started making this weird stuttering buzz noise in the middle of the night. The speakers have picked it up now.

Yes I have that same problem. Especially when I'm dancing to my music and the computer sends out a stupid Hp Update request. Not only is it loud and I clicked "cancel" a hundred zillion times but it pops out at any time! I don't need no stupid update, my computer is fine!! ARGH!!

When my computer was broke I used another computer which was kinda old and when the heat was too high it made a noise that you can compare to the noise you hear in your ears when you listened to very loud music but 100 times worse which actually gave you that sound in your ears which made it even more terrible, the only way to make it shut up was to hit it but then the computer did shut off...I am so happy my computer is repaired xD

Try having to deal with a 2nd fan going off once in a while for your graphics card and it sound more like the turbo on the car (the thing sounds like it's broken!)

IT'S A MONSTER LIVING THERE! I remember the first time I cleaned the CPU of a scholar computer, and it had all kinds of trash inside it! I couldn't believe it.

When you get a power outage at 4am.
And then your printer, right next to you in pitch black darkness, turns on.

Scary scanner is scary.
That happened with our microwave. It makes a really loud, squeely beeping right when the power shuts off. So, power goes out, and with my back to the microwave it makes this hellish beeping I've never heard >.<
And it did it again when the power went back on.
