My in progress Steampunk guitar project (I always love The Villanizer)It started as a regular $100 guitar kit. I saw a few parts off, installed and some copper pipes and gears. It has some backlight behind the pickups and it will get a (working) pocketwatch.
It was bolt on guitar neck but I glued it in. It originally had a stoptail piece but I removed that and drilled string though holes.
The stains on the guitar are real rust. It got a bit dark after I added clear coating but still looks kinda cool.
The guitar will (hopefully) be playable when I'm finished.
