I'm trying to nail down appearances for Lena and her girlfriend (wife?) Emily in their "default"/true forms as synths. The idea is that their base genome is Human, but they also get generous amounts of Synthetic DNA, Indoraptor DNA, and DNA from at least one HTTYD dragon spliced into their genomes, effectively making them something in between super-soldiers and bioweapon beasts. Their general combat traits are: Biological Immortality (allows for extended periods of "usage" as combat units), Regeneration (heals injuries that would be fatal to humans, and even injuries that would outright destroy a human), Enhanced Immune Systems (Yes, they would resist even deadly infections and high grade tranquilizers), Hydrocarbon Organs (For making and storing their fire type- they would have a shot limit), and Camouflague (let's face it: you can't fight what you can't see.) Other traits include: Having Four Arms (The second pair act as wings), Biological Androgyny (Males and Females would be functionally mostly identical), Technicolor Fur (No one knows why, like how no one knows why Widowmakers got blue/purple skin), and shapeshifting (If they were in the mood, they would go full Boggart on people as a prank.) In terms of how they'd fit into society as a whole- they'd most likely be part of the larger 2SLGBTQ+ community, and therefore Non-Cisheteronormative. As for Lena herself (themself? I'm unsure whether I would keep her/them entirely female or make them non-binary), it's mainly details that need to be ironed out, such as whether she/they have Nubs (Night Fury), whether she/they have spines on their head and the sides of her/their tail... and whether she/they have Indoraptor Stripes, Night Fury Blotches, or a plain black fur coat aside from a Cyan/Blue underbelly... and scars. A small detail- her/their snout might also be a bit more Shoebox shaped than this. I'm running with the idea that she/they wear overall masculine clothing aside from casually bearing/emphasizing her/their midriff. I'm also entertaining the idea that she/they mirror Toothless- in terms of having a prosthetic tail wing. Hers/Theirs would be super advanced/high tech and probably have some direct neural interface, and a streamlined design with few external working parts- if any. It would basically be able to fool most vikings into thinking that she/they hadn't lost a tail wing- until she/they casually pulled it out of its implant/socket and freaked them out...
