I already tried to make the branches a bit lighter, but the main source of light is (as you can see) on the other side so there was nothing I could do about it
I took this wide my wide angle lens (10-22).
Left arm clinging to another branch,

I wish the water was more visible, but I wouldn't sacrifice the superb composition just for that. Really cool how the path just wanders right into the sun. The mist! That's a great little extra. Fog has yet evaded me. Congratulations on the hunt.

Haha, can you see the branch on the right of the biggest one?
I already stood there, but the leaves were blocking the sun so that wouldnt work.
