A pitBull in training, his name is Vurz, he's approx. 11 months old and comes from a shelter. He's in training as a service dog for his owner, and he's doing extremely well.Related content

Such a handsome pit. Awesome, that's what my husband wants as a service dog for when he loses his eye sight (he's losing his eye sight as a complication diabetes), but he's been told it can't be done. What do they know. We always thought they'd be great at it.

The only downside to having a pitbull as a service dog is the discrimination by some people, but that is easily overcome.

That and finding a trainer that is willing to train a pit bull as a service dog.
