Description I thought the difference was fairly obvious, but I've seen many people argue that they're the same when they're really not.

• Feminism:
noun
the advocacy of women's rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men.
• Egalitarianism:
adjective
of, relating to, or believing in the principle that all people are equal and deserve equal rights and opportunities: a fairer, more egalitarian society.

noun
a person who advocates or supports egalitarian principles.

...See the difference?
One is about gender equality by advocating rights for only one group of people. The other is about human equality and advocating rights for everyone.

And honestly? Egalitarianism > Feminism

This is why I only call myself an egalitarian and not a feminist. Better to include support for everyone, than to focus on only one group and exclude everyone else. The latter being pretty unfair and rather rude, IMO.
