Probably it is. The Dragunov is an exhibit from the Armament Museum, but the M16 was brought by one of the reenactors (or at least I've never seen it on the indoor exhibition).
EDIT: Oh, and regarding the bayonet lug, although Dragunov is often referred to as a sniper rifle, its primary users were designated marksmen assigned to an infantry squad. Unlike snipers, who fire from masked, selected positions and can withdraw if they are compromised, marksmen could reasonably expect that they might have to defend themselves in melee combat if their squad if overrun - so a bayonet was a welcome addition to the rifle.

Now that I look at it again. . . It is an airsoft. I didn't notice the charging dial at the base of the magazine.
Ahh, makes sense. I'd probably want a little extra protection too. Barrel is long enough too.
