My favorite scene is his impending death...as he looks at the photo of his family and then the irradiated Earth.Β Β In Starblazers. he says he wishes he could see the Earth greebn and cool again, But he has seen her. Then he passes away. Then a dying Nova (Yuki Mori) revives, and the World becomes blue again.
Β I guess the alien Cosmo cleaner D was a Type of Genesis system.Β They originally said it could clear the radiation pollution, but that would like water putting out a raging fire.There'd be onlyΒ ash left.Β That device did more. It restored the Oceans and the Forests, and all the things that The old Captain remembered.
