Finally! After incredinly warm winter, today was the first "snow" day
Suma, female Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae, tygr sumatersky) from ZOO Jihlava, Czech republic
She did not seem to like snow XD

INFO ABOUT THE ANIMAL:
Name: Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae)
Location: Sumatra
Size: 1,8 m long body + 0,8 m tail, 0,9 m high weight: 180 kg
Diet: deers, boars, elks, birds, tapirs
Conservation status: Critically Endangered
Interesting facts: Sumatran tigers do not live in groups. Every tiger has its own territory and cats meet only to mate. Only female then take care of 2-4 kittens. Father does not look after his babies. Other males can kill the cubs, so mother must be very careful and she looks for her cubs until they are 2 years old | Sumatran tiger is the smallestt of all tiger subspecies | there are only some 400 - 600 Sumatran tigers living in the wild | Sumatran tigers swim very well and fast | they are threatened by hunters who kill them for their amazing wonderful fur

Beautiful picture of Suma ! It's nice to see photos of her in the zoo she was before. Did you know she moved this year to France ? To zoo de l Boissière du Doré, when I met her this summer. I already knew her sister (same litter !) Kiara, who lives at Doué la Fontaine. Suma is as beautiful as her sister
