This photo is dedicated to all deviants, who supported me, when I wanted SLR camera so badly! For those, who have bought my stuff (prints, mugs) and those, who gave me some nice words. Also because of you, I could finally buy my new SLR camera - so the first photo, which was taken by it, is dedicated to you! I am very grateful Thank you very much!

Name: Sand Cat (Felis margarita)
Location: Sahara, Arabian Desert, deserts of Iran and Pakistan
Size: 50 cm + 30 cm long tail weight: 2, 7 kg
Diet: rodents, lizards, birds and insects
Conservation status: Near Threatened
Enemies: humans, wolves, snakes, raptors
Interesting facts: Sand cats have thick fur on their paws, so they can walk on hot sand | cats do not have to drink water – they gain all the water they need from the body of their prey | cats dig their prey into sand to come back and eat it later | they live solitarily
