Description
I wanted to take part in #PokemonDaily 's July contest, which theme was teams. Our web connection got busted some time ago, and not being able to use internet or play WoW or anything I started a new game in Platinum with my DS emulator. (some day I swear I'll buy the real Nintendo DS. When I have money.)

And here be the team!

Happy Max the empoleon (male)
Even though I'm in love with the fire monkeys, I decided to choose this one, because steel penguin is just epic. He was named after a school animation project I did few years ago. (you can watch it here: [link] if you're interested)

Zaza crobat (female)
I needed something to teach the HM Fly, and I didn't really want to have staraptor. Not that I wouldn't like the bird, but everyone has one, and I didn't want normal type to my team this time. And when a friend of mine told me that she had crobat as her flying device, I kinda went and monkied her idea.

Uriel kadabra (male)
I always have one psychic in my team, and in four cases out of five, it's kadabra. So was it also this time. I just love his SpecialAttack, he can one hit KO almost anything.

Louhi onix (female)
I wasn't going to have an onix, but as I have a habit of catching one of every 'mon I encounter, and when catching her, I had spare slot in my team, so instead of going neatly in PC she was stuck in my team. But after I used her on one fight and realised how good she actually was, so she stayed.

Bug houndoom (male)
Caught because I wanted a fire 'mon to my team. When caught he didn't know one single fire move, which lead to hard training just to get him to a level high enough to learn one himself (I did buy the TM fire Blast for him, but as it's PP is only 5, I needed back up). Because of this he became my biggest and strongest team member and he still remains almost ten levels higher than the rest of my team. He has awesome Speed and Special Attack stats, but he's no goo against fighting type for having both type weakness and pretty low Defense stat. (Which is why I wanted to draw him startled by lucario's swinging foot in here. Bug is hard hitter and strong, but when it comes to even battle, he can be a real wussy.)

Chalybeius lucario (male)
The latest addition to my team. I wanted a fighting type to my team, and I love steel type so... I needed to evolve him fast since I needed to teach Rock Climb to something, and the only other possibility was Happy Max who already had HMs. So Chaly is pretty spoiled. (His name is Latin so C is pronounced as K. The name means "steely")

The team also occasionally contains Osamu the luxray and Nora, the low level HM storage buizel.
