Description
A piece I did in “installments”, in-between some work. It’s supposed to be just Dagger, but I decided to add Cloak during the finishing part.I really love these 2 characters, and I can only wish to see them on a regular basis. I read about a new mini, but I’m not sure if it pushed through or not. I’m just glad that they were given special roles in the latest Marvel Ultimates Alliance 2 video game. I believe Cloak and Dagger can make it to the A-list, if written well just like how Brian K. Vaughan did when they appeared in Runaways (volumes 1 and 2).

Modesty aside, I’m really proud of how the faces turned out, especially Cloak’s. I guess staring at some actors’ faces whenever I watch TV (or movies) do pay off (I try to memorize in pictures people’s facial differences). As for Dagger’s, staring at various ladies at the mall (and getting a swollen left cheek for too many slaps) paid off too, LOL. Also, it may not be too obvious since Dagger looks simple and not-so-detailed, but I spent some time trying to get the posture right, as I refrain from getting dependent on photo-refs.
