hi, sorry for the horribly long response - I've been away.
Anyhow, this one is old, and I don't think I even have the original psd file...it was made by cutting and pasting, took some time.

It's just that they seem to follow a pattern that goes part the letters, like there's something underneath them. It's much better than just having the individual letters as solid colors, or just doing boring color fades.
