That's great! How did you get it to look so real and not so artsy and fake? What were your f stops? or however you did it.

Outstanding work. I am curious, do you use Photoshop to do your stitching? I also do not have a wide angle!
And also do you create the HDR before you stitch them? I'm not sure how you would do it after, but just wondering.

fizzle017 In reply to wreck-photography [2009-03-05 18:02:57 +0000 UTC]

I have always been a Man United supporter. Good thing because her brother would not let me in his family if I supported anyone else!

I saw your tutorial, very nice.
I used PS3 to stitch some photos together last night. They came out really well. [link]

I know you use a different program for this but I had a problem stitching vertical pictures together, not a vertical pano, but vertical shots put together side by side. Any input?

And when you do multiple rows do you stitch the top row, then the bottom row, and then stitch them together. Do you have to turn them side ways to do it or does your program handle vertical as well as horizontal?

Sorry about all the questions. Just very interested in this process.

Thanks

Also, My fiancee loved your gallery!

Sorry for the late reply.

My sister supports man u too! Its funny how people can really allow football to be such a big thing in there life. Saying that im no better with photography

PTgui the stitching program i use doesnt have any trouble stitching portrait images, maybe try taking the images a bit closer together.... PTGui also allows you to stitch in all directions, you can pretty much wave a camera around pressing the button and it will work a way to stitch them lol. I guess just trying different process' till you find the one you like.

Hope thats some use.. and say thanks to your fiancee. Glad she likes

one thing i can't figure ut about your phtograhy is how you manage to get so many shots of a place that looks like it should be crowded without any people in the final image…very puzzling
awesome work

A lot of the time i squeeze my shooting to my lunch time's during the working week so people arnt around as much. Also shooting pano you can just wait until people walk past before taking the next shot..
Thankyou

Eastbourne, East Sussex. South east of the uk. (my home town). It looks nicer in the photo than real life

Oh, Ok. I saw Eastbourne in the description and thought it might be the UK, but wasn't sure. And if this place looks nicer in the photo, then you're amazing! I usually don't do justice to the locations I shoot
