Description Spring 2007
Prismacolor Colored Pencils
11 x 14 Bristol Board

Isn't it always interesting that once you call a piece done and complete, you look back on it and you find a growing list of things you would like to change or wish you had bothered to take the time to fix or alter?

Bugger.

Thank you!

It's all done with colored pencils on bristol board. I use sharp points, lots of layers and tons of time. That's about all. Any texture is a result of the pencil work, though some limited bit of the paper texture can show up (though not much, since bristol board tends to be pretty smooth).

thank you!
I use Prismacolor as well. I like the soft leads. and I don't use them nearly as much as I would like to though. They are a very time consuming medium for me and I haven't much time for it lately.

The soft leads are what i use, as well. I used to think they were quicker than paint, but since I started using watercolor, I realised that its easier for me to get a flow than with pencils. If that makes sense! But I love the effect that the pencils can produce. I just don't know how to use them as well as you. lol
