Jizuma: the loyalest friend. He's a Monk and a Cleric of Oghma, who's holy symbol is a scroll. Jizuma is a very intimidating figure and a terror in battle, but he has the heart of a gentle giant. He follows the beliefs of the Sacred Fist, which means that he may never pick up or use a weapon against another. He fights martial-arts style, with a bit of sumo-wrestling mixed in.
This was my hardest challenge yet, but I think I 'rose' to it. When I read the character description of what was being requested I just about said 'no..sorry..I can't even try that!' I'm very pleased with how this turned out however. Hope you like it too, 'Jizuma'.

There's a brush that comes with photoshop, its a little 'grass' brush.
I used that on a couple different layers with variation on.

Very cool portrait - the muscles are well defined and the overall effect it suggests to me is that of a benevolent "guardian" figure, powerful but not menacing... great looking work!

I painted those in on a seperate layer (of course) then spent about half an hour turning the layer on and off trying to decide if I should keep them...they made him look alot more handsome and alot less gruff...and I wasn't quite sure if I wanted that, lol.
