Description This is my first (or most recent) attempt at vector work and I figured I'd apply it to a family crest.

Since I was young, I was told about how my maternal grandmother's family was descended from wolves. It was an interesting story, nothing fancy nor was it riddled with talk of 'destiny' or 'greatness' but instead simply stated we were related to wolves. My grandmother, who taught me to read, would notice me reading about wolves and she would point to the pictures and say "that's your cousin" and smile as my young eyes lit up in excitement.

My father, a Hartman, didn't have such legends. It was merely understood that Hart meant deer/stag and man meant Hunter, so I was also tied to that creature. I vowed from a young age, despite there being hunters on my mom's side of the family, that I would never shoot or knowingly bring harm to a deer or wolf, nor use any part of them as decoration (such as fur or mounted trophy). Both of these people passed away when I was younger, my father when I was 4, my grandma when I was 17. In honor of the two people and two families I come from, I have adopted this creature as my personal symbol. Representing the loyalty and cunning of the wolf and the wisdom and strength of heart from a deer.

I'd love to make more sigils.

I plan to use this as my symbol and fursona (maybe)

I pictured something very similar on a recent LSD trip and wanted to get a tattoo of it. more just the head portion, but everything else I found online for inspiration was too "tribal". This is perfect. I'll show to the tattoo guy for him to redraw (it's perfect as it, just want his spin on the head portion).   I'll for sure give him this link / credit of where it came from when he starts, and i'll post back the completed work if you want. I wish i could give credit another / better way, it's amazing

This is awesome! Do you mind if I use it as the holy symbol for a deity in a campaign setting that I am working on?
