I wish I could predict the future well enough to have posted Mario and Luigi Partners in Time fan art that far ahead. With that much clairvoyance I could totally win the Lottery.

Thank you!
It's kinda funny, I took so long to reply to you that it's out now, but I still haven't played it. Mostly because I still don't have a Wii U due to there always being some problem that needs my money more. (I need more decent-paying commissions.) So I can't give you an in-depth opinion, but from what I've seen I can sure say that it's super lame that instead of lots of fun and interesting characters like the first two Paper Marios it's just lots of boring toads. If you ask me one toad is already more than enough bland, the last thing I want is hardly anything but toads. Also, I think it kinda went too far with the paper and cardboard thing. Maybe I'm weird, but I never really cared for the paper theme in the first place in any of the games, but hey, it was also pretty easy to overlook in the first two. Aside from Mario's paper transformations, I saw the characters as being flat because they were hand-drawn sprites in 3D backgrounds, not that they were supposed to be literally 2D paper cutouts. I mean, it's not like classic 2D Mario games were supposed to be flat paper either. So using the extra graphical power of the Wii U to go all out on making the world look like it's definitely all made of paper and cardboard isn't really my cup of tea, and I don't care for the added white outlines around the characters either. I guess the Mario and Luigi games will end up as the only good Mario RPGs anymore which is too bad, paper theme aside, I liked the overall style of the Paper Mario games more.
Well, that was probably way more answer than you wanted, so I'll leave it at that. Asking for my opinion on a series I have such fond memories of is asking for a ramble, I can't help it!

The best Gamecube game? Obviously I'm quite the Paper Mario fan, but I dunno... The first Metroid Prime and Resident Evil 4 were also super amazing. Though personally, Wind Waker didn't really wow me. I didn't have a problem with the sailing, but there was just way too little land to explore. And its visual style wasn't my thing at all, to put it mildly.
Game opinion rants aside though, thanks for the kind words, they're much appreciated!

Ahehe, I didn't play any Metroid or Resident Evil game yet
I didn't play that many GameCube games at all, since my first home console was the Wii... I did play the GC PokΓ©mon games, Mario Kart DD, Mairo Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, SSB Melee, Zelda WW, Pikmin 1+2 and Paper Mario 2, but that's all, actually
Hm, I think it was a good contrast to all the other Zelda games out at that time, which all had pretty much land to explore
Well, I really like Wind Waker's overall design, that peoples' likings differ is no secret after all
You're most welcome, I have to thank you for the detailed reply, I appreciate this very much

To each their own and all, but I just didn't like how there wasn't much to do with water compared to land. There's nothing to climb on water, no boulder to bomb for secret passages in water, etc. What I probably like most about Zelda games is that they always have more environment interaction than the average game, but water mostly killed that. But again, it's not that I hated sailing like some people did, I just would have preferred it had as much land to explore as other games in addition to sailing. Basically, I just wanted much bigger islands. Or, it could have let you explore Old Hyrule under the sea, instead of just looking at all those places to explore. That was such a horrible tease, showing me the game I actually wanted almost at the end but hardly letting me go anywhere.

Yeah, I agree to most of this all in all! Especially the part about Old Hyrule, that really was mean! I remember that I also expected a bit more of it to be actually explorable than only being able to walk this one, small path from Hyrule Castle to Ganon's Castle...
