Heheh... Yeah, just a few simple panels flashing back really do give a great deal of color, huh?

Second panel has Grant and OZ duking it out dressed in clothing appropriate for the debut chapter of the former. .... Well, mostly. Grant was wearing a stripped-down version of his costume there with no gloves or boots or cape but wanted him fully dressed for the picture.

Also in the flashbacks to our Halloween chapter we see Alex wearing the Dr. Who outfit now drawn looking quite a bit nicer, a reminder that that's when Rick stole the film reels he needed to make his girls, and even stole Glory's car to escape!

Just love how those panels came out visually. ^^ Was fun drawing Grant's old costume again; way simpler and easier to draw but REALLY prefer how much more colorful his current look is.

Martin's Comments:

It's sort of funny, going into this chapter I kind of struggled with the cover a bit because I genuinely wasn't sure if we'd see anybody but these three in this chapter. Then along comes this page where we see Grant, Oz, Rick, and for the second chapter in a row Glory, funny how that worked out. Also fun getting to do Alex's Doctor costume again.

This one's kind of mostly a set up page, going into more detail about something we've passingly nodded at previously, while also nodding at events that happened in Blues. Might come off as a little weird without that context I guess but figured with Technical King having come up, and Laura having once dressed as Oz well before she'd actually debuted in Blues, it felt worth calling back to a bit.

Have kind of kept meaning to follow up on Rick stealing Glory's car actually. Kind of feels out of character with how he eventually wound up being written, early installment weirdness is a thing and all.
