Description
When I go for walks, I walk slow and quiet, just listening to what is around me. That way, I don't miss a thing. I heard this little guy who was over 20 feet off to my right and was snuffling around in a little creek bed that was down in a gully/ hill. I sat on a log (not having seen him yet) and waited as it got closer and closer and then, with my camera ready, he appeared and climbed up on top of the log in front of me. Very cute--look at his little hands! This youngster was just foraging around for food. The canopy in the forest was pretty dense so it's shady and not surprising to see racoons during the daytime. He looked around, posed, and almost sat still until he finally decided to move on ^^
