A car whose life ended before it went to mass production...too bad, it looked awesome !Here is a tribute to this cool car.
Note: the rear is too short, I tend to ink the drawing before fixing up proportions.

I agree, it is a shame. The last rear drive Escort Ford worked on. Development on it ceased when Audi where working on the Quattro. It is also the most powerful of the RS models. 350BHP was what it churned out. They actually developed loads for homologation but most were cut up, the engines being redeveloped for the RS200 cars. It is a fine drawing you've made. The rear end looks fine to me. Comparing the drawing to the pictures on this site ([link] )
