Your "quillons" would constantly be stabbing your hands and arms.
the weapon is also huge - it would swing like a fan blade and be really unfun to move from place to place.
Also, the fulcrum point (center of mass) of the blade appears to be way too far forward - the weapon would be uncontrollable and nearly useless.
Your technical drawing skills are interesting, though.
