Description
So as I said, I decided to remake Gecats yet again and I'm absolutely in love with them now. I feel like I'm finally coming to something great ; v ;To that I've added different breeds, this one I call "Gold Dust Savannah". All names will have references to real cat, gecko and/or salamander names~
Once again, if you'd like for these arpg to become a reality, please tell me which species you like best for it or if you'd prefer that both species coexisted in the same arpg! ^^

Gecats
About
Gecats are Reptilian-like mammals that have cat-like appearances and Gecko/Salamander-like tails.
They used to live in humid environments but, as cats, have been tamed and now live as pets.
Gecats are affectionate and smart but often tricky to their owners, they have strong personalities
and like to test their owners' domain. Owning a Gecat is not for everyone.
Taming
The taming of a Gecat or Gekitten is the most important part of the companion relationship, if a
Gecat never fully bonds with you within the first weeks, they probably never will.
But don't worry! Forming a bond with a Gecat or Gekitten is easy; they like to form bonds with those
who show leadership potential. Being social creatures, Gecats will bond to those who give nurture and
care. Make sure to provide a warm place to hide, some tasty treats and loving cuddles~
After the bond has been formed, the fun begins! Gecats are very independent and intelligent; however,
they'll always prefer to make you company.
Gecats understand language, even if they can't talk or emit sound themselves; they're very good
listeners though.
Care
Taking care of your Gecat or Gekitten is relatively easy. All you need is:
- Shelter: Gecats get stressed about certain things, like very loud noises and unknown people/ animals so make sure to provide a nice place to hide.
- Moisture: Gecats need a lot of drinking and swimming water, make sure they always have some available, mostly in particularly hot days.
- Food: Gecats don't have 'meals' they eat small amounts throughout the day; you can either leave them a full bowl they can eat from as they please or always carry treats in you if you are constantly with them. Gecats are omnivorous, they can eat insects, small mammals and most fruits; buy they're each unique, you'll have to learn what your Gecat likes.
- Grooming: Like cats, Gecats clean themselves often, so soapy baths are only needed in very few occasions; however, depending on the type of fur of your Gecat this might form knots if not regularly brushed. Silky tends to need the most grooming, while Fluffy is good to go with some brushing every one or two weeks; Rex however, can't be brushed but should be stroked to get rid of any forming knots.
Gecats can have almost any colours except very bright colours.
Patterns, nevertheless, must be natural; if you can find it in another animal, Gecats have it too.
*The only restriction on colouring is that the skin and the fluff must have different colors; they may share
one or two, but the main colour must be different.
Breeds
Gold Dust Savannah (Shown)- Long and tall; muscular body. Usually the most calm and easy to train
Caledonian Coon- Strong, elegant bodies; their faces are wider and tend to have fatter tails. These have the strongest temperament but are very smart.
Crested Himalayan- Short and stocky, rounder faces. Mostly easy-going and friendlier; they learn easy but usually need some encouraging (food).
MutationsColoring- Albino(rare), Melanistic(rare), Piebald(very rare) and Chimera(very rare) are possible
Physiological- Curl /curled ears/ (uncommon), Fold /folded ears/ (uncommon), Sphinx /no fur on head, fluff still present/ (rare)
Gecats are a CLOSED species, you may NOT make your own.
