currently still an egg. will be taken in by furor & function as a sort of test subject under them. birth twin to sisyphus.

signe
lavaling ○ she/they ○ currently in florya
overly aggressive & easily irritated. overprotective of her brother jay & is quick to lash out. always w/ jay. [she has a full bio here! ]

jay / jacob
lavaling ○ he/him ○ currently in florya
a bit of a pushover. generally friendly but tends to be driven away from others by his sister signe. will back down very quickly if anyone is even slightly forceful. does his best to stay positive, but most things he wants to do are immediately shut down. always w/ signe.

aaron
lavaling ○ he/they ○ currently in florya
ex-subject that’s recently escaped. he doesn’t speak or understand the astrolyte language yet, but is following a creature that found him in the woods [dallas]. he’s mostly just trying to process what’s going on, but he seems to really like the stars.

dallas
lavaling ○ they/them ○ currently in florya
lives off by themself in their own little treehouse. they’re really concerned about how “cool” they seem and refuse to do anything they deem “lame.” they have a really short attention span as well. they’ve been leading a cool feral alien they found [aaron] around town.

narcissus

what it says on the tin. he’s absolutely obsessed with himself & only really puts it aside for his siblings, delphi & dionysus. constantly terrorized by dionysus she’s after him run narcis

dionysus
lavaling ○ she/her ○ currently in aitsua
really just a little gremlin of a lavaling. she’s always dragging her siblings, delphi & narcissus, along on various antics that almost always end badly [but she’ll exaggerate them into being successful]. loves her siblings but will also never pass up a chance to mess with them, especially narcissus.

akeyla / key
astrolyte ○ she/her ○ currently in florya
a socially anxious lyte that works at a floryan library. she mostly keeps to shelving / processing books at her job & reading them / attempting to write her own in her free time. she has had a lot of that since both her adopted sons [jupiter & james] moved out / left. she visits jup sometimes at the warren.

jupiter / jup
astrolyte ○ he/him ○ currently in florya
a very optimistic lyte currently volunteering at the warren [florya’s lampery]! he still has most of his energy from his childhood & is determined to put it to good use. he’s very forgiving & there’s very little that can put him in a bad mood. he’s recently moved out from his adoptive mom [key]’s house, but still visits very often! he is ready to cheer up some lavalings as he searches for a more permanent setup.

jack
mythling ○ he/him ○ currently in florya
a detective at heart. he’s very interested in true crime, literature, & plants, and will often spend hours researching cold cases he’s found in between reading books and gardening. he’d love to be a real investigator one day, but nobody seems to take him very seriously due to him being a kid and all. suspicious of sophia.

hades
dracoling ○ he/him ○ mostly in aitsua, but visits his relatives in florya fairly often
kind of a tough shell, but there’s just a nerd inside it. he’s a little spoiled by his family, so kind remarks aren’t his forte, but outside of that he’s very inventive & has a strong interest in mechanics and cars. attempts to make little machines with spare parts he finds, but hooves are not very good for finicky tech.

sophia
lavaling ○ she/he/they ○ currently in florya, but was aitsuan-born
kid with a bit of an empathy problem. she’ll mostly act almost ignorant of other people’s issues if she doesn’t see how it affects her. if there’s other lavalings around, she might mimic their reactions if she’s seen that doing that can get her friends.

lucio
lavaling ○ he/him ○ currently in florya
lives in a little floryan bakery & helps run it alongside his moms. he’s very good at baking and not much else, but has fun with whatever he’s doing anyways! he’s a little bit of a coward after spending a lot of his time on the same little floryan street, but mostly just has a couple common phobias. pen pals w/ kira.
