Vampire the Masquerade fanart, this time a vampire from the Clan Ventrue.Ventrue - nickname: Bluebloods
Old-fashioned and tradition-bound, the Ventrue are sophisticated and genteel. They believe in good taste above all else and work hard to make their lives comfortable. They are cautious, honorable, social and elegant Kindred. It was Clan Ventrue that provided the cornerstone of the Camarilla, and it is Clan Ventrue that directs and coaxes the Camarilla in its darkest hours. In ancient nights, Ventrue were chosen from nobles, merchant princes or other wielders of power. In modern times the clan recruits from wealthy "old-money" families, ruthless corporate climbers, and politicians. Even in the modern age, the majority of princes descend from Clan Ventrue. The Ventrue proudly wear the privileges of leadership, and stoically bear its burdens. Thus has it always been; thus shall it always be.

Wonderful!! once I wrote a fic about Pandora, MariuΒ΄s lover, and placed her on the Toreador family (for the Rose symbol, though I didnΒ΄t know much about that family) and her recent lover, a young Vampire I called Andrei, in the Ventrue family... of course, it was a fatalist story, but I loved it anyways...

tho rarely to Vamps sleep in coffins... and for some reason i see am as a Giovanni, simply because of the long hair, as i always see ventrue as having short hair... i dunno i'm weird...
he also reminds me of the character Antonio bandaras played in Interview with a Vampire... i forget the name now...

Long or short hair? I see the Ventrue as very neat so I don't see why they can't have long hair as long as it's combed back and kept neat. Long hair can be very elegant

dude when I saw this it reminded me of a story idea i just came up with. Though the characters arent the same but the whole coffin, mortician and london look was along the lines of the main character in the story.

Am insanely jealous and more so that you're actually RPG VTM, my husband and his friends have been stuck on D&D for eons. We've had a long break and so far I don't think it's going to work since the DM is more harder to ple-e-ase then your in-laws.... Wish I could be in a propper and exciting VTM, at least nearly as powerful and alluring as which you capture in your pieces.

shinig, the coffin handle&the shoes seem to tell a real man is always spick-and-span! i just admire the softness of the floor, its elegant soft light
but there's one problem to my mind in upper part you use cold light&shades of violet - while in the lower it's warm colours. mmm, they simply don't harmonize with each other

But why don't you think the cold and warm colours don't go together? Personally I really like the contrasts they make as I think it makes the pic more interesting to look at
