I've been following/watching this DracoStryx for some time now and added it to my watch list. Is it fun to be in that group and to have your own Stryx? I'm thinking maybe, just maybe I'll try it too but I'm not that good with art, I write more than I draw but I really like this species, esspecially the Tytos

Yeah, absolutely! I've really enjoyed being a part of Dracostryx. It's a pretty laid-back community and everyone has been so nice! They have opportunities for art and writing events, too, which I really enjoy since I'm usually more of a writer, myself. XD I would definitely recommend jumping in and getting yourself a stryx! ^-^

Me too! I've always liked mythology but it hightened even more after I watched Xena Warrior Princess Plays in ancient Greece with warlords, Amazons, Olympians and other stuff. So that's awesome. You don;t see much ancient Greece movies/series. Which I don't get because there's SO MUCH mythology there.. Maybe even more so than the Norse mythology (but then again, I donlt know much about it) I just love mythology, esspecially Greek and random stuff like dragons and even Japanese mythology like Kitsunes  

I have read through it and after some thinking, decided to join the group! I was accepted and just posted a journal that I'm looking for my first common Tyto and requested to add it to the 'Advertisement' folder of the group. It's waiting now

I've seen Xena! It's pretty cool! It's weird there aren't a lot of other big series out there about it - you really would think there'd be more! It's such a rich culture! Norse and Japanese, too! D:

You have? That's awesome! You've seen the whole series or just some random eps? Yes I know! One can do so much with Greek mythology or Japanese or Norse or any other. I think that's also one of MANY reasons I love the show so much. I loved all those Olympians running around. Aphrodite is such a sweet and funny gal And Ares is so lovely complex! You just love to hate him sometimes I even am kinda pleased Zeus hadn't such a big role in Xena, gave the other Olympians some time to shine And I love the balance Dite and Ares give to the world

Yes, I'm very excited I posted a journal for a female Snow or Sand common Tyto/geno with Nocturnal biorhythm. Now it's waiting and choosing at some point

Just a few random episodes! But I think one was the first episode, there was a blind Cyclops that the blonde girl tricked by pretending to help him catch Xena. I really enjoyed all the monsters, and Xena's horse is just gorgeous! ;w; But I don't think I've seen any with her meeting the gods. :0 My favourite myth is probably Psyche's, but Hephaestus, Athena, and Artemis are some of my other favourites!

Ah ok^^ I'm so addicted o this show, I've seen all eps 2 or 3 times now already xD At least 2 times I've re-watched the whoel series in order and many times just random eps
You should totally watch teh whole show in order. So many stuff happens! So complex and everyone is connected to each other in some way. Be it by blood, rite of cast or Xena's dark, dark past to name a few.

The blind cyclops is the very first Xena episode yes ARgo, Xena's horse is gorgeous, it's a palomino color And Argo herselfis so awesome and intelligent <3 Ares and Aphrodite frequently make their appearence and furthermore, you see Olympians like Athena and Discord. There is one episode where you see almost all Olympians. In that particular one, (towards the end of season 5), you see an episode with Ares, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Athena, Poseidon, Dicord, Artemis, Deimos and Hades. Throughout the series, you sometimes (apart from Dite and Ares) Athena, Hades, Zeus once or somehting along with Hera, Discord also sometimes makes her appearence and Hephaestus also twice or something..

In the series, Dite is my fav She's so funny xD And in mythology itself, Artemis is my fav. Amazon Goddess and all

You won't ever hear me say you shouldn't I can't get enough of the series and everything around it xD But mind you. The Olympians ARE Gods/Goddesses. They don't show themselves almost each episode and just like that for any small thing. And I dolike that. Makes it special once they appear Dite and Ares, you'll see more frequently, though due to their connection to Xena and Gabby.
All eps except 2 are on Netflix. Lyre Lyre Hearts on Fire & Antony and Cleopatra (Both season 5) are not if I remember correctly.. I have te whole series as DVD boxes so I can see all eps and also extras like cast/crew interviews and Comentary. I'm re-watching it with my best guyfriend and we're almost at the end of season 5 now.Actually, I think we are at Antony and Cleopatra now xD
