Description
I wanted to draw something to celebrate Absol's new mega form, which will improve its attack and speed - speed in particular. Not sure how high, exactly, but something at 100 base or above would transform a commonly overlooked Pokemon into something on the lines of the legendary Weavile.

It also looks really feminine, which drew interest in drawing it. It took me a while to figure out what exactly I was drawing, leaning towards full anthro sketch or a non-anthro piece, but I ended up doing a portrait so I can make an anthro piece and keep it mild. I did intend the Absol here to be a female (based on my own Absol, Damei, who is going to go through another breeding cycle to get Justified), but I didn't really put a whole lot of girly into it.

I didn't want to stem too far from the source's style (Ken is awesome), so I guess that is why.
