Description This cute little abomination was the result of my daydreams while at work. This design is a clash of different influences, notably from FiM, and some of my own concepts (both made on the spot and from other works). This creature plays on the Greek Centuar myth, except the normally human upper section is now of an anthropomorphic horse.

I went for a FiM-inspired appearance, and the result is a cartoony-though-slightly-touched-with-realistic style. "Centaura" is the working name, though the "a" at the end is supposed to stand for, well, anthro(pomorphic). Also to note, the random line there is actually a scaling thing I threw in there to represent the humans average height.

Don't kill me.

The second I saw the thumbnail for this I had a feeling I'd like it.  I think "like" isn't quite the word I'm looking for...  Especially after I took a good look at this!

I'm a fan of centaurs and all sorts of human/animal hybrids, but what stood out for me was the shape of the head.  Equitaur I think is a word used to describe a centaur with the upper torso of an anthropomorphic horse.  All the more exotic, and in turn, all the more I like it!

One thing I noticed is how her upper torso sort of continues from the front of the lower body, as opposed to rising out of it at a 90 degree angle like most centaurs usually do.  It would be a bit odd for her to try and be upright considering the spine's tendency to be relatively straight, but for this picture it looks very interesting and nice, almost like a post-transformation picture.  Now that I look at it, it's actually as if the head and neck were transformed into the upper torso.

I noticed that her neck seems a bit thin though.  I think that if there was just a bit more of it under the head (moving its left line over a bit) it might achieve a more realistic look considering how large her head is.

Pretty nifty looking "abomination" you have here.

Uhhh... Okay?

And about that whole "back" thing, I posed her to sort of "arc" her back or to be stretching. So yeah. This is also, if that wasn't taken into account, stylized.

At first I thought it was a pony... and then I was like. Wait.

No one will kill you. But they may find you.

I'm not sure if your pleased, disturbed, confused, or angry.

I might need your help with some anti-intelligence stuff, then.

I don't have much to say, but I don't want to say nothing. I think confused is the most accurate choice, only because I don't know what to say.

Sure thing. Let me get my obligatory CIO armour.
