So I had noticed awhile back that I was coming up on my 50th deviation here on dA. And I thought I should do something special for it.
I have been a huge fan of the X-Men since the cartoon in the 90's. Then I got into the comics. And I now follow most of there books. And X-Men #1 (1992) is one of my favorite and oldest comics that I have collected.
So what better way to celebrate my artwork than to do a HUGE project about the X-Men. This actually took me many hours to do and came along great as I progressed with each person. I was really impressed how Magneto turned out with the energy blast from Cyclops. I think that was the best part for me.

Nice job. But I am wondering why you changed the colour of Wolverine's costume... It was brown and tan in the original.

Dude! Fantastic job! This is such a great memory for me, as well, and you did it true justice! I love how you darkened Magneto and how vibrant all the other colors turned out! Iceman! Wow! The only critique I can see would be on Wolverine. I think there should be more blue on his mask to match the coloring on the rest of him. But seriously, that is knit-picking! Congrats on the 50th deviation! I know it's a big deal because I just crossed that threshold myself!
