So hey, I actually get to do some art for the APH 2014 World Cup event this year! 8D Hard to believe that I got into APH four years ago, a couple of months after the 2010 World Cup ended. So I didn’t get to make any art for that (did make this slideshow with that year's theme song, tho. Ah, good times, good times). However, since the World Cup is a HUGE event at my workplace right now, I’ve gotten to catch most of the games thus far. For those of you not following the WC events, little Costa Rica has just so happened to beat first Uruguay and then fan-favorite Italy in their section of the preliminary rounds, which absolutely no one expected. This means that Costa Rica gets to advance to the knockout stage of the WC for the first time in over 20 years. Needless to say, after the game ended yesterday, I was like, yup, doing something for this, posthaste. XD My poor Central American OCs have gotten sorely neglected by me the past few months, anyway, and this seemed the perfect time to give Pacifica some loving with a quick fanart. X3

So here’s to the underdog contender that no one saw coming! Good luck against England this Tuesday and in the upcoming knockout stage, Costa Rica, and good luck to all the rest of the teams!
