this is a glorious day for me.
I finally drew a tolerable picture of Link from my story, "The Legend of Zelda: The Forgotten Triforce".
In other words...

I DID IT ! lol

My story is based off of "LoZ: The Ocarina of Time", as well are my characters.
I've always pictured Link looking more grown-up in OoT rather than in games like "Twilight Princess" and "Skyward Sword", in which he looks more like a 16-year old boy.
The eyes in this picture were the most important feature. I made them mature, but still young.
In the first book of my fanfic, "The Forgotten Triforce", Link is still very naive - even goofy sometimes.
However, a tragic loss that he suffers in the end of my first book causes him to adopt a more serious persona and tougher exterior that's carried over to my second book, "Death by Dred and Vengeance" ('Dred' isn't supposed to be spelt as 'Dread').
Although this loss almost breaks him, he still harbors the same compassion he had for others in the first book.
He remains a loveable character throughout the second installment, despite his more mature outlook

"The Forgotten Triforce" is greatly based on the storyline of OoT. It has the same temples, bosses, characters, etc., though I HAVE added many things, including another main character.
I've also given some personalities to generic characters (such as the Hylian soldiers), embellished the storyline with some side-quests, and elaborated one of my favorite places in the game - the Ice Cavern.
"Death by Dred and Vengeance", however, is a whole new story that I created, continued from the OoT-based first book. In a sense, it takes a darker turn, but also lighter at the same time.
It matures as the characters mature, and I feel it's an interesting follow-up to TFT, and a fun story to read.
If I DO decide to post it on here, I hope people will enjoy it as much as my Quizilla fans did.[:
