Yup, it's that day of the year again. Sad, but I wish I can at least bring some hope to the fandom.The idea of this pic is simple, if there is some thing that could save Piers after the explosion, should be the virus, and the cocoon is the only thing I could think about that might keeps him survival, and protects him until someone find him.
This maybe is a dream, a fantasy, a scene prob never will happen in the future game, but doesn't hurt to take it as an AU story. Just like many other pieces I have made. No matter what is Capcom planing about these two characters, they can still got an happy ending in this universe.
So, I wish you guys like it and don't lose your hope.

I never knew how much his death affected me, but I had to swallow when I clicked the link, like a pit in my chest ;'( this is beautiful, I really wish that he is alive, he shouldn't have died, however heroic it was. He deserves to live, he fast became one of my favourite characters, and I will take whatever hope I can get. Go team Piers x
I think if he is alive, I will permanently gasp and squeal, and then probably just lots of relief and crying lol.

Stunning, beautiful, and most important full of hope on this very sad day, can't possibly imagine the amount of emotions going through at that moment, but one should overwhelmed the rest and that it's happiness that his ace is alive. The underwater effect is very well done, as it is the cocoon, just the atmosphere of the scene is spot on, very cinematic filled with so many details, I could believe this was something official if I didn't know better that Capcom couldn't possibly do something so right to bring back Piers.
I also believe in the cocoon theory btw, the enhanced C-virus file said the host doesn't need a cocoon to mutate but that doesn't mean it can't be used for other measures like Piers shielding himself from the explosion, HAOS did something similar in the boss fight where it protected itself while it healed so it's a plausible theory. Well if Capcom doesn't give us Piers and Nivanfield back I'll just pretend this is the real canon and our boys got reunited and spent the rest of their lives happily together.
Anyway I wrote too much xD so to wrap things up thanks for bringing this amazing universe for us where Piers and Chris can be together as they deserve, it's amazing too see how your pieces connect in a big story Happy 1st July.

If Capcom wants, anything could be possible, any theory could stand, but we don't know about that, and I highly doubt they would care what we want. They have done too many shitty decisions for money, for dramas or just for no reason.
But as you said and always as my intention of my works, to keep them happy in this universe, at least.

I crying at the end from the story in Resident Evil 6 and i sit in front of my tv and i was shocked

Yea, it was a very sad ending, I can't take it as real when the credit of the game popped out. But what's done is done, good thing is we still have the fandom and AU to create our own stories and happy endings. Appreciate your kind words honey, I'm glad to see people enjoy my works, thank you~

It's been months since the last major mission given to the soldiers of BSAA. Even if Chris has physically and mentally moved on, his heart still continues to grieve for his fallen comrade----Piers Nivans.
Wanting to give and hold a proper burial for his best friend, his brother----------his lover, Chris took a vacation----but actually went on a secret trip to find Piers' body. He had some connections to help him out with his escapade. Chris went to where the facility had sunk. With proper diving equipment and such----he dived in----hoping.
After hours of searching, Chris felt so sad and disappointed with himself----when suddenly, he noticed something odd among the corals just further down the wreckage of the facility. There were some kind of 'roots' that was entwined with the corals. But then, he noticed that the 'roots' were kinda moving in a pumping motion.
Even if Chris knew it was dangerous, he followed the trail of the 'roots', which were becoming thicker and thicker as he followed it underneath a tunnel----and then out into the sunlight again when------
Chris held his breath. Heart beating so fast. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.
There he was. Piers Nivans. Attached to a wall, 'roots' surrounding him and formed a jelly-like cocoon. And not only that----you could see that Piers, even though unconscious, was breathing inside!
Chris couldn't contain his emotions----tears welled up and silently fell down his face.
Piers was alive. Alive!
He stayed with Piers for a moment and watched over him as he kept him company for some time------

Oooooh my NivanHappyField, this is breathtaking.
I know you have already proven this time and time again, but I still can't get over how you manage to crossover into all different types of themes when it comes to making incredible pieces.
A one trick pony, you are not!
I swear, this just feels like an epilogue screen shot. Like honestly. If RE6 had those, I could totally picture this being Piers' Epilogue file.
As someone who personally doesn't like being reminded of Chris' ending, I'm more then happy to support extended versions that flip it around.
Especially ones as incredible as this. 
Underwater looks insanely gorgeous! It goes beautifully together with the scene happening here.
I ADORE the details around Piers. The bubble helmet in particular is awesome, as well as the protective shell formed on him.
It's both cool, but also a perfectly reasonable explanation as to how he survived.
Of course you poke at my NivanFieeeeeelds with Chris reaching out to touch his Lieutenant.
Both sad, but also incredibly sweet!
At first, I use to dread this day for all of the sad art that I don't like being reminded of. But pieces like this, it feels like fans are rewriting history, and I couldn't be happier.
