First to view it, first to comment, and first to favourite it; it deserves the lot, to be sure. This is a fantastic photo - I had to double-check the full-size, make sure it wasn't a marvellous watercolour painting - that brilliantly captures colour through contrast. The soft, warbled lines in the sky are juxtaposed just right with the dark, gnarled, yet elegantly stretching branches in the foreground. Though really, I suppose you were well aware of that already; hence the photo.
In any case, great shot. I'm a sucker for purples and blues, and you've got both here captured oh-so-well; this is near my own personal definition of 'excellent photograph.'
Well done.

Oh, my most humble salutation for such a description It makes me happy that you looked into, instead just the obvious. I'm changing my way to see/interpret reality so I'm in the middle of a transition not only on colors, also in composition and you have seen that so well. This was the day number 35 on exactly the same place in 2 years. I'm going there for 2 reasons: 1. there is no other place so perfect like this on many, many kilometers around my state. This one is at 200 Km, the others starts at 600 Km and impossible to me taking such ride. However, this helped me to see the same place, over and over again, in different ways, each time, with a more and more subtle viewing, so I'm being taught by this place. I'm now much more aware of many things, like colors depending on the hour, how to decompose and re-compose more harmoniously, how to capture more the essence and put it on the picture. I have learnt lot of new stuff the last time I went there, when I took this picture. Went alone, kept myself there for 6 days, no internet, no computer, just the photography equipment. Quite like am spiritual retirement I'm now more aware of composition Thanks for your comment!
