OMG I'M SO HAPPEH THAT THIS IS FINISHED. <3At first I wasn't too big of a fan of this Shinlai's colors/design, but after making his ref, I've fallen in love with him. Big time.
And I'll have you know, my computer froze 10+ when I was making this. ;A;
Can you also see that I was beginning to have the fancy for sweets? Ra's color scheme reminded me so much of ice cream. Specifically strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate.
Damn you, you time of the month. D<

I love how you've drawn and developed this guy! He looks fantastic and friendly but able to hold his own in a squabble. I also love how fuzzy his face is! Makes me go baww each time XD And that was a neat idea including the map on his sheet *might do that too*

Read the whole sheet, very impressive, my dear. You put a lot of work into this, and it shows! His colors were hard for me to put together, I planned on making him black and white, but this just seemed to fit the Shinlai better, but I'm glad you like it now. Since he is your Shinlai, you are free to edit and change as you please. Just try to keep the overall look the same lol
Anyway, I love his story, he's such a kind beastie <3 Thank you so much for doing this, it cheers me up to see this <333

And as for his design, I love ittttt. I probably won't do a whole lot of changing. Though, every time I began to draw him, I had the biggest urge to draw a little bit of fluff on his legs. :T
So maybe I'll do that. Not a whole bunch, but just a little hint of hair there.

And yes, he is a very virtuous character. I noticed that all my characters (most of them anyways) were all meanies. And I decided that I needed someone nice for a change. Which lead to his personality.

See all those weird boxes on the bottom? Yeah. That was one huge box, with nothing but empty space in it. And I could think of NOTHING to put in it. It was so frustrating! So I sliced it up into a bunch of smaller boxes. xD
So in a sense... I murdered that little box for being useless. ._.
