Description You have encountered a DOUCHE WEARING A DUMB JACKET. What do you do?
Margaret: *Pop collar.*
...What?

This is one of those cases where I just let the character do what she wanted. I don't understand it, but I let her.

Yes, I do know how the family all lost their souls and became liches. It wasn't them playing in traffic. For some reason I figured out that backstory even though I knew it wasn't going to have room in the comic at all? Maybe someday if I continue this.

As for why I have the mind reading, I assume it's a spell. I think Vincent and Elsa might know it as well, and I don't know if either of them were using it.

The real reason is that I realized pretty early on that I wanted Margaret narrating and thinking a lot. But if I was going to do that, I figured, "Let's play with that by having a mind reader."

If we take reading minds to mean aware of the fourth wall since he can hear her narrating then yes.

And for the record, he can hear her narrating when she does. See last page.

Woah, mind reader. Makes him even more of a creeper.
Liches sound pretty cool.

The good (bad?) news is that since it's a spell he can turn it on and off at will. Pity, mind readers getting stuck reading horrible things like dirty thoughts is hilarious.

They so totally are. [link] God bless TV Tropes and its articles on weird shit.
