Finally, chapter 4!Sorry this took so long, I've been really busy with my part time job. And yet despite taking so long, It's definitely not at the level I wanted it to be at. I wish I could have had the time to put more work into this part.
I won't say much about this chapter, as I want to hear you, the reader's thoughts on it, but I will say that Nosepass is going be really fucking strong.

Geodude's a good kid, but it was more than willing to kill Treecage, so I wouldn't feel too sorry for it. Absorb is a pretty boring move, so I wanted to spice it up, as Niall's first gym battle should rightfully be intense. Thank you, thank you. ^^
I love Nosepass! They can be a bit of a pain if not prepared for, though. Trust me though, Treecage won't win with ease, that's for sure.

Back when I first played Sapphire version as a kid at Christmas in 2003, I remember facing Roxanne for the first time. I chose Treecko as my starter, but I still didn't know what to expect. She was honestly a challenge, plain and simple. Of course, now, I can beat her blindfolded, but I relish the time when Roxanne was in fact a badass, and Pokémon as a whole was at least somewhat difficult for me. I'm hoping to be able to express that through Niall's journey in my Nuzlocke. Thanks, Ash!

I didn't know who to choose for a starter because me being a little girl chose solely off cute factor. Because that's what 5-6 year olds do XD And since I couldn't use the internet to see which was cuter I chose the firetype starter Torchic. Needless to say first gym was a pain!!! I lost like 5 times with my level 15 Torchic! It finally got to the point where I went out and grinded for like an hour! Till I was level 23 because little kids over grind. So I evolved got double kick and beat the shit out of Roxanne. I could not beat that Easter Island idol looking thing so many times and it brought me joy to body it XD
I'm really enjoying the story so far~ CAnt wait to see more of his nuzlocke adventure!

Yeah, I was only 7 or 8, myself. I never really grinded too much as a kid. I honestly used to just catch anything I liked, and kinda went with the flow, even though I lost a lot, haha. I even used to try to avoid trainer battles. Eventually, I learnt to over-train, and battle every trainer in the game. It has gotten to the point where I often tend to nuzlocke a game naturally just to get a bit more of a challenge out of it, as well. I really wish we'd get a more challenging set of Pokémon games.
When redesigning Nosepass for my comic, I was actually going to take a more Easter Island moai approach.

My first team consisted of Blaziken, Ludicolo, Gardevoir, Swellow, Exploud and a Delcatty XD
That Delcatty being on my main team just shows the 5 year old state of mind of "OMG It's a kitty cat I have to have it on my team!" XD
I over trained so much because I wasn't experienced at battling so I didn't know what to level them up too so I ended up bodying everything XD
When I first saw Nosepass I thought it was the ugliest pokemon I'd ever seen XD I still sorta do XD Although... now there is Garbodor.... So I guess it isn't that ugly when you compare it to that XD
Well the way you drew Nosepass is cool all the same~

Interesting, interesting! I wish I could remember my first gen 3 team. I recall a Treecko, a Swallot, and perhaps a Shedinja? I'm pretty sure I remember my original Silver version team, though; Typhlosion, Umbreon, Noctowl, Sudowoodo, Red Gyarados, and Corsola. I also remember Shuckle playing some small part as well. I can't quite remember, I mean I was only 5 after all. I wouldn't have completed it if not for my dad and cousin helping me. Well, I probably would have, but it would have certainly taken a while lol. I even remember killing Lugia first time around haha. Of course, I ended up including Snorlax in my team when I went to Kanto, but I don't recall who I replace with him. Probably Sudowoodo, or Corsola.
Nosepass has always been a handsome devil in my eyes. I think Stunfisk or Jynx would have to be the ugliest Pokémon on my list.

Indeed it was! I'm studying Cartoon & Comic Arts. I think it'll be a great aid to my drawing. If I put in enough work, and a bit luck, after my three years there, I should be able to draw to a professional standard (Oh God, I hope so.) And once I graduate, I'll be able to set my sights on breaking into the comic book industry! ^^

Sure is, boss! I rekt her in about a minute in the actual game, but It's always fun to make things more intense. Some gyms will be tougher than others in this run, let's just put it that way.

Dude, I'm loving the battle style and effects. I would of never thought of absorb to be like that (I imagined a type of vampire sucking type of attack, maybe because of zubat). Anyways very nice VS Geodude battle. I'm also loving how you've chosen to display the inside of the gym.
I'm guessing that Treecage has that quick claw wrapped around that hand. May I even dare say, that it's become his new hand? ;A;

Thanks, bud. I guess we all have our own way of picturing attacks. I think the idea of tendrils draining out one's energy, and then ripping their carcass apart is a little cooler than what's depicted in the games. Your idea is awesome too! Would be fun to see. :3 If you enjoyed the short Geodude battle, then brace yourself for the Nosepass battle. It's gonna be pretty long!

Thanks, mate! That's generally what I was going for. Of course, I don't want to make Nosepass look ridiculously powerful, as we have many more powerful Pokémon to come, but I wanted to separate it from everything Niall and Treecage has face thus far.
