Description
My entry for the ~HP-Art-Project . Cut pretty fine to the deadline.Spent a lot of time sitting in my room, listening to the Dresden Files, and working on this when I should've been sleeping or Doing Stuff, but it's Done now, or as close to Done as it's likely to get. There's a lot of problems with it (especially George. Yeesh, can we say remnents of my old DBZ fangirl days there, Georgie?), but overall, I guess I'm okay with it. It was a learning experience.
By the way, did you know Wizards cast spells on the Quidditch pitch to screw up persepctive and make the ground/horizon lines/vanishing points look all wonky? Because they totally do. No joke. You can look it up if you don't believe me. All part of the game. Uh-huh.
Harry Potter and all that gear (c) JKR. I just wanted to draw angry sexy red-heads.

Here's what they should've done.
"Just as Umbridge stated that Harry Fred and George were banned forever, she suddenly dropped to the ground, her head bearing what looked frighteningly like roundhouse related injuries. Malfoy, terrified, slowly pulled out a pure white handkerchief and weakly said that he was just angry and he takes it back before slowly backing out of the pitch and running away as if his life depended on it. Umbridge never recovered and the ban was lifted."

Ive seen a few versions drawn of this scene. and i think this one is the best.
it really carries the weight of the punch through Malfoy's face. Not to mention the logic-snapping anger in the Twins and Harry's expressions.

Quite possibly the best part in the entire series: Draco finally getting the shit beat out of him. Sure, the two times when he was reduced to a puddle of "uck" were interesting, but this is good ol', down to earth, primitive, man-to-man ass-kicking.

This is one of my favourite twin-scenes in the series and my goodness have you ever done justice to it! The perspective, the detail in the Quidditch arena, the colours - all fantastic. Haha, and I can see what you mean by DBZ!George (its the eyebrows I think, but it suits him!). Brilliant work as always, I will continue to lust after your artistic talent.
