Dreams don't have backgrounds. Ever notice that? But it needed something there, so I had Derpy herself draw it :3. Also, she says the dark blue lump is a wave.Octavia was hoping to have one of those good dreams where she and Vinyl could, yuh know, but Derpy felt like paying a visit instead!

i did have a childhood. it was playing the legend of zelda and n64 games. i'm one of the few people i know who played goldeneye64, which is the father of the console fps.

Actually, I believe that title rightfully belongs to Doom. Goldeneye simply blew it out of the water with its awesomeness. (And now I'm tempted to imagine what Perfect Dark would've been like with ponies.)

i've played doom a little, but yea goldeneye is amazing. so much nostalgia haha i feel like a hipster. Honestly, I never played Perfect Dark though I know it's basically the spiritual successor to Goldeneye. God Rareware made some kick ass games back in the day....

Speaking of games by Rare, I'm tempted to recall a line from one of their last N64 titles:

I honestly never played that game either! but one of my friends said it kicked ass haha. Did you ever play Starfox Adventures? I think it was there last game with Nintendo. omfg it was nothing like StarFox64 at all. a random ass game that is worth playing.

I have indeed played that. In fact, I played through it a few times. Refreshingly different for a StarFox game, I must say, but I enjoyed it, nonetheless.
Back then, mind you, I thought of it as being the closest thing the GameCube had to a Legend of Zelda game until one eventually did come out. (And speaking of The Wind Waker, I'm still the proud owner of a Limited Edition copy of that game, complete with OoT Master Quest!)
