Description This is the one good outcome of my 24-Hour Photo Adventure. This is the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, and I came across this style in the September issue of National Geographic in the ZipUSA section and had to try it out. I think this came out pretty good... too bad none of my other stuff fromt hat weekend did. Anyway, hope you enjoy and leave your thoughts.

Fujifilm Reala, ISO 100
Canon AE-1P; 28mm FD lens

9/14/2004 edit: I was bored in class today so I did some tweaking with the levels and came out with a slightly different version, which has a bit brighter greens and bolder blues. Pardon my alliteration, but I think it looks better this way.

The 24-Hour Photo Adventure was an event that took place in Atlanta last year where anyone who wanted to participate would shoot around the city in a specified 24-hour period, starting on a Friday. The following Sunday, everyone displayed their work in a park in the city, where they would be judged and where photographers could meet and talk. It was a very cool event--I wish I had done more for it!

I almost came up and did the 24 hr photo adventure in Atl but my professor told me that it was only for residents of Atlanta. Did one photo or photographer win? I am interested in seeing what won if that is the case. I like the collage!

I've been to that place just once, it looks completely different here... If those are composed of 35mm prints, then they are pretty good. Happens that I also like the ZIPUSA feature. Nice photography. A bit more darker border might have helped with the light penetrating the middle and throughout the whole border.

Oh, hell yes.

This turned out better than expected actually. To pick something so simple, you sure did compose it in a unique manner, giving it an artistic edge to it. The different angles and perspective meshed together highlights its numerous details. For example, I enjoy how the light and sky above The High becomes lighter just above the museum. It also highlights its unique architecture.

Lovely shot.
