Description
A pet graphic set for the online game Rescreatu.comThis revamp is a bug for the kids that like bugs!
Probably the most enjoyable thing about this revamp was the differences in the three stage growth, which is very distinct for flying insects.
Baby intes needs your love, and hugs!

Although I'm not on this site, and I draw for a pet/adoptable site anyway, these look really nice. You draw insects very well, and I hope for my insect set of adoptables, which will appear in a garden, of sorts, I can do just a good job as yourself.

Out of curiosity, how do you artists do all the different colors of these things?
...Try to keep it simple. I'm pretty stupid. I know my way around Photoshop's more obvious things... I just want some kind of idea of what happens.

The how really depends on the who. Different artist do color adjustments different ways, but the principle is essentially the same.
The key is layer masking. Each color area and level of shade has a unique layer with a mask applied to hold the color 'in the lines'. With masks applied new colors are as simple as using the fill tool.
The hardest part of creating these is ensuring that colors are consistent between all stages. It's 48 unique images that have to be perfect.

Wow. This is the most original take on a creatu I have seen! Hopefully, you will also revamp the goiba? I love the way the three stages took a more realistic twist.

I am not sure 'original' would be a word I'm comfortable with for this revamp.
All I have really done is taken more realistic beetle characteristics and applied them to an existing design.
