This comic is old, last summer old. In fact, most of the deviations I've submitted have been sitting around for several months before I submitted them. That is my justification for why I'm late on the Death Note bandwagon.I tried drawing Light. I had problems. Too many. I was tempted to use a screenshot in the first panel, but decided against it and I just tried to copy the page in the manga without actually tracing. Yes, that awful picture is free hand.
Why must trying to reference Takeshi Obata's work cause me problems?!
It's just another reason to hate Light Yagami, that and the fact that he's one of the only people to ever get a workout from writing.

You say you have a hard time drawing him and yet you drew him very well in the first panel. In all honesty, any mistakes you might have made could very well be considered an improvement to his face.

I actually like drawing guys with boring hair, it's easier to move it into my style XD

It isn't for me. Yet, when I say boring, I mean hair that's al less than a centimeter in length, the kind that EVERY guy had when I was growing up.

haha that is so me once in a while when I try and draw feet, I mutter small curses when I have to erase it all over again and try over.
Damn you feet why must you be ever so useful but oh so hard to draw?! DX

It is safe to say that everyone has this problem with anything they draw. I found myself cursing guys with boring hair to animals in general.
