You and Light had been dating for a while; in fact you both had been dating for about three months. At first everything was going fine; then she appeared. Misa, you knew her as that famous model that appeared in magazine. It happened the day you were at Light’s house studying when she barged into the room. It frighten you when she threw the door open and spoke Light’s name in a high pitch voice.

At first you were quite confused as to why the model would know where Light lived. But the confusion was quickly replaced with heartbreak as the blonde revealed a lot of things with a smile on her face. How Light and her were a couple and that to hide it the brunette just chose to date some random girl at school. Among the blonde’s speech you could hear the brunette trying his best to speak over her, yet you didn’t process his words. With anger you left in a huff, not acknowledging the male’s futile attempts in calling your name.

As the days went by, you ended up having to change your number and e-mail as you were bombarded with calls, text messages, and e-mails all from the one who broke your heart. But, that heartbreak was quickly replaced by love as one of the boys at school confessed his love for you in a cute and nervous way. Weeks turned to months as you hadn’t heard anything from Light until the day your boyfriend had passed away from a heart attack. Heartbroken and upset you cried before hearing news that Misa had also passed away of a heart attack that same day. During that comfort Light leaned down and pressed his lips tightly against yours. Your eyes widen as you slapped him across the face and pushed him away from you. You screamed and shouted asking him what was wrong with him and why he would do something like that. He rubbed his red cheek as he gave a breathless sigh. “Jeez and here I thought my plan was working quite well” he grumbled as he looked at you with those piercing brown eyes that gave off a red glow.

“What are you talking about?” You snapped as you glared at him.

“I thought if I could get rid of the obstacles that were in my way we could get back together, but it seems I was wrong” Light said more to himself then to you. You furrowed your brows and scooted back away from him while on the bed.

“W-what do you mean, my boyfriend and Misa both died of heart attacks. The only person that can make people die of heart attack is…Kira…” as you said this sweat began to build up on the side of your face as your body stared to shake. The thoughts that entered your mind only seem to be confirmed with the wide smile that spread across Light’s face as he started to lean closer to you. “Light are you…” you trailed off as you soon could feel his warm breath on your skin.

“I’m Kira” he whispered out as you clenched your teeth and your eyes widened.

“That’s not true, you’re lying!” You exclaimed as you placed your hands on his chest and pushed him away from you. You heard him sigh as he stood up and walked over to his desk. You listened as he rustled around in his desk drawer and soon he did something as he retrieved a black notebook with the words ‘Death Note’ written on the front. You scooted back some more as your back pressed against the wall behind you. You watched as he held the notebook out towards you.

“This notebook is what helps me cause all those heart attacks” he explained never really losing that smile of his as you shivered. The more he explained the book to you the harder it was to believe him. Death Gods and a magic book that lets you kill people without touching them, you knew he was lying. But, you had no doubt that he was mentally insane if he honestly believed all that. Your fear from earlier was replaced with anger at the fact he could joke about killing two people.

In your anger you grabbed the book out of his hand, ready to scream at him only to stop at the horrifying thing you spotted behind him. It titled its head as the blood in your face drained as you screamed at the top of your lungs. “Believe me now?” Light asked calmly as you nodded your head while throwing the notebook at the lanky, gray skinned creature that laughed at your reaction. “So, I’ll only ask this one. Would you mind being my girlfriend once more, [Your Name]?” He asked.

“Are you insane?! Why would I possibly want to date the person who killed my boyfriend, my God you even killed your own girlfriend!” You cried out as tears welled up in your eyes.

“She wasn’t my girlfriend, she was just some nuisances!” Light growled as he stood and picked the black notebook off the ground. “And I don’t think you really have a choice in denying me with the situation you’re in right now” he said coldly as he narrowed his eyes at you.

“What are you going to do, kill me?” You spat out venomously.

“No, instead I’ll just kill your family” he said.

“You heard me I’ll just kill your family, friends, basically anyone you get close to will end up dead and it’ll be your entire fault” Light said as he started to laugh. ‘H-he’s threatening me!’ You thought as sweat started to drip down your forehead while your body shook. Your muscles tensed as you felt him walk over to you and soon he grabbed hold of your chin and tilted your head upwards. You looked into his insanity filled eyes as you started to shake. “So what do you say?” He asked. You clenched your teeth and closed your eyes as you nodded your head.

“F-fine” you forcefully spat out before you clenched your fist as your nose scrunched up in disgust the minute he slammed his lips onto yours.
