Always showing off his blade, this guy xDDDD This is my favorite of your works actually, just the expression and the details are lovely, especially that happy trail leading down to his "sword" <3

Thank you ! I think i am better with pencil than most other things, but i am trying to get better with digital art. It is tough to balance and combine both mediums, but i think i'm getting better!

Same with me...I color better digitally, but I can draw better traditionally..there is a way to scan and use layers in coralpaint but I still can't seem to get it right...so when I do attempt to color over my pencil art..it looks iffy..XD

In Photoshop, you can place your original line art on the bottom layer and then cut out all the white space leaving behind just the line art. Then take the line art and place a layer over or under it and color there. So your line art is not affected by the coloring. Additionally, there are options that allow for a "screened" effect where the color seems to bleed through the line art so you don't need to go crazy coloring in each and every pixel. Then touch it up with filters and airbrushing.
If i learned anything about digital art, it is having to go over your drawing many times with several techniques until you feel it is "completed".
But Vector art is where the real animation pros seem to be spending a lot of time in. Adobe Illustrator and flash. Clean and crisp lines and colors with a seemingly cut out appearance. It is a totally different animal compared to its sister Photoshop.

How fortunate for you! I was the opposite.. and hated corel draw. But i was not focused back then and the technology was just not perfected.
