Description I was at an especially dull staff meeting today. I brought a notebook to have a semblance of paying attention and to have something to do. I did a lot of random sketches thus the lifeguard came into being.

Perhaps I'll write a story 'bout him later . . .

Certianly love the body structure on this one. Simple, yet with a mix of cartoony and realistic. Wonderful pose and perspective. Very lovely piece of work.

Thanks . . . And I know what you mean. My ability to draw people in varying poses is touch and go, especially without visual references. This guy was kind of a happy accident.
