Man I was so SO sure that I was going to hate Rose, because she reminded me so much of Leia Rolando from Tales of Xillia (whom I absolutely hate), but, despite everything, she grew on me. I just can't find it in me to even remotely dislike any of the Zestiria characters, I love them ALL!

That's funny. Leia was my absolute favorite, and Rose immediately became my favorite in part because of that, so it definitely holds true.

I don't understand it myself, but, I think I just found her to be one of the most helpful, and coolest, supporting females in any RPG I've played so far.
Her being the leader of a group of a group of Assassins was what sold it.
Hell, her group's signature quote is my comment signature!

For my part, they basically combined my two favorite characters in the series thus far and added a huge badass streak.
She could try to hide it better.

Ah, I've only played two Tales of games so far, Xillia and Zestiria, three if I count Xillia 2 (though I haven't beaten it), so, I'm not familiar with the lot of characters beyond them.
Yeah, it didn't help that she's literally wearing the lower half of her Assassin outfit with her merchant outfit.

I think I've managed to play about a third of the series. 
The daggers were a dead giveaway. Good thing everyone in Glenwood is dense enough not to notice. XD

I definitely plan on playing Vesperia, I'm a little on the fence about playing Berseria, I have a feeling it may end up being...soul crushing, as if Zestiria wasn't so enough.
Either that or they move so fast nobody even notices the daggers.

Vesperia was actually a favorite of people who really liked Zestiria too. I had several people say that Vesperia was their favorite until Zestiria came out.
Yeah, it might be the fact hardly anyone ever sees the Scattered Bones when they're working, so there's nothing to make a comparison to.

Well, Zestiria is one of my new favorite games period, despite the relentless feels. Yeah, I was playing Xillia 2 for a while, then, I just kinda took a break from it, however, before I could start playing it again, I got Zestiria and that kinda made me forget about it.
Wait...is Xillia 2 depressing?

I have huge issues with Zestiria and it's STILL one of my favorite games ever. I finished my second playthrough a couple months ago and I already miss it.
It's kind of known for it actually. XD But I do think it's worth it if you can tough it out.

I started a second playthrough of a it a while ago, this time with the Japanese voices, but, I may not get back to it for a while because I JUST got Final Fantasy XV and I need to play it! But, that's kinda like how I feel about Eternal Sonata, I have MANY criticisms of the game, more so than I have good things to say about it, yet I love it to death.

Ah, I'm on hold with FFXV because of Berseria coming out. I just passed the point where they introduced stealth gameplay and it's very well done.

What, she becomes human/mortal or something? Because that would be kind of annoying. I already know that Ludger is Elle's dad (I saw that in somebody's youtube comment). Honestly, I'm not even sure if I wanna bother with it by this point.

I'm not worried about it getting dark, I just don't wanna be forced to use characters I HATE (i.e. Leia) while my favorite characters die/are removed from the picture.

You do keep your full party. The required characters change between chapters. In character chapters of course it's two certain characters and one of your choice. :/ But I really enjoyed all the characters so it wasn't an issue.

Well, that's a plus, Persona 3 pulled something like that at one point where it literally forced me to use a certain character, of course, my most hated character. I hate it when games do that.
