i was heavily into both Godzilla and Marvel comics in the 70s, as you can tell from this drawing. in fact, it's very hard for me to draw Godzilla from the movies, since this one is SO ingrained in my hands.i started an epic story, one featuring a crossover with Raider and Great Mazinga from Go Nagai (not that i knew it then).
never got past the second page!

I like that look. I have drawn a bunch of Godzillas myself (eventually, I will post a "representative" example) and it's easy to get a set method of drawing the beastie. I know pretty much every G I've ever drawn looks roughly the same unless I make a conscious effort to change him up a little.
