Description
this is the Bird Gigans, which as anyone can see is pretty much a mix of two kaiju, Gigan and Gappa. i actually drew this in about 1977, before i had seen Gigan's movie. the name came about from the book "Journey to the Center of the Earth" which has a critter in it called the Ape Gigans, and i dreamt about this monster and it had that name- the Bird Gigans.

even back then i was a strange little kid!

not one of my more memorable self made creatures, but since it was a small drawing on a heavier stock, i include it. and you can see a maser tank there!
